Reservoir Characterization

Reservoir Characterization

Multi-disciplinary teams are fundamental to our approach

GaffneyCline's geophysicists assess structural configurations of the reservoirs by interpreting horizons, faults and seismic impedance.

Geologists interpret depositional environments and reservoir geometries. Petrophysical specialists independently interpret log and core data, to ensure that derived reservoir properties are appropriate for static (geological) and dynamic (engineering simulation) models. Reservoir engineers assess reservoir fluid and rock properties using analytical and numerical techniques and consider relevant property up-scaling.

GaffneyCline has global experience in conventional clastic and carbonate reservoirs, tight reservoirs and unconventional resource plays.
